We don't know a better place to visit than Tennessee.  Whether it is the scenic byways or the wonderful shopping, wine tasting, camping, canoeing, fishing, golfing, exploring, biking, horseback riding, eating, history, or swimming, there is bound to be exactly what you are looking for, all within a day's drive. Besides the beauty of our countryside, the splendor of our seasons and the warmth of our people, here are some unique things about our counties, cities and towns:

  • In Bedford County - Shelbyville is home to the world-famous Tennessee Walking Horse - the only horse named for its state.
  • In Coffee County - Rolling Stones magazine named The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, held every year in Manchester, one of the 50 moments that changed the history of rock & roll.
  • In Franklin County - on these beautiful evenings visit our Montana Drive in - with 3-screens & double features each night visit www.montanadrivein.com
  • Giles County we are celebrating our 200th Birthday this year with activities and events throughout the year.
  • Hickman County, home of Minnie Pearl, has more springs and scenic waterfalls than any other middle Tennessee county.
  • Lawrence County has a rich musical tradition as the birthplace of Southern Gospel Music and home to a large Amish population.
  • In Lewis County is the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway running thru it and includes the resting place of the famous explorer Meriwether Lewis.
  • Lincoln County has several famous stores and home to the only harness racing at our county fair.
  • Marshall County  - Come out to the drive in movie - visit http://www.hiway50drivein.com  home to one of the largest Truck & Tractor Pulls.
  • Maury County is known for their Antebellum Homes.
  • Moore County has the Lynchburg square full of stores, restaurants and more, but is most famous for Jack Daniel's the oldest registered distillery in the U.S.
  • Perry County has the TN River which runs the entire western border & offers a variety of water related activities.
